Starting the Spring 2010, student rosters will be uploaded directly from our school Student Information System to the Moodle Course System

New to Moodle:

If you are new to moodle you will login to the moodle course system at http://moodle.lamission.edu and then you will click on your online

class. It will ask for your Username and Passcode

Your Username = your student ID number 88-xxx-xxxx

Your Passcode = your month and day of birth (eg. Feb. 5th = 0205)

Existing Moodle Users:

You no longer will use your moodle account username and passcode that you set up and used in moodle classes before Spring 2010.

Instead you will use the new system.

Personal Computer Protection

  • Ad-Aware Software - FREE - run monthly to remove data mining elements that can slow down your computer.
  • AVG - FREE Antivirus Software - if you don't have an antivirus software on your computer, use AVG. Do not put two antivirus softwares on your computer at the same time or it will cause your computer to run very slow. Antivirus software protects you from viruses and every student needs to have some kind of antivirus protection.
